Volunteers in School
We welcome the contribution of our many volunteers who help with individual student support (eg reading aloud), administrative tasks, gardening, trips and visits etc. If you would like to join this group please contact Karen Sims Stirling via the school office.
Use of Social Media
The Federation’s schools are committed to making the best use of all available technology and innovation to improve the way they work. However, as soon as information is published online, it is essentially part of a permanent record, even if it is removed or deleted later or attempts are made to make it anonymous. Information can be disseminated very quickly via social media and is virtually impossible to retract once it has been published. Even if it has been online for only a short time, it may well have been picked up and copied and/or forwarded on by computers around the world. Members of the school community are therefore asked to use all forms of social media with extreme care, together with sound judgement and common sense.
Absence and Holidays in Term Time
If your child is absent from school please let the office know on the first mornng and send a note explaining the absence when they return.
Parents are expected to arrange their holidays to coincide with those of the school. Any requests for holiday absence in term time must be discussed with the Headteacher before any arrangements are made as it will only be possible to authorise such absences in very exceptional circumstances.
Please see 'Policies' under the Governor tab to view our current Attendance policy.
